“Fuck” and “Yes“! I am watching this opening night and even wild (ninja) horses will not be able to stop me from doing so.

Looking like a modern-day mash-up of pretty much every Shaw Brothers and Golden Harvest kung fu movie that I ever loved as a child The Man With The Iron Fists is pretty much cinematic crack targeted directly at my cerebral cortex! Directed and co-written (with Eli Roth) by Wu Tang Clan member RZA, produced by Quentin Tarantino, starring RZA, Russell Crowe, Jet Li and Lucy Lui (totally riffing on her Kill Bill kung fu credentials) and featuring what looks like some totally down and dirty, bad-ass martial arts action this hits all my geek pressure points in a single blow.

The last time I saw something along these lines it was the incredibly cool, Samuel L Jackson starring Afro Samurai movies. But as much as I love anime the fact that this is a live action picture riffing on all my favourite Eastern cinema references may just give it the edge. Expectations are high for this one.
