dontfeedthemonkeys.com evolved from a blogger.com account into its own domain in 2004. Over the years the site has had multiple authors and many different themes (all of which have been laced with undertones of technology and toilet humour).

More than a decade later, and despite the original site content being long gone, I cannot promise that much has changed.

Who am I?

weddingFirst and foremost I am a husband. Nothing is more important than family. I am one of those annoyingly-lucky assholes who fell in love at first sight and never looked back. My wife is a deadset legend; funny, smart and drop-dead gorgeous.

Professionally, I am a technologist. I am employed as the Director of Product for a global software company. My responsibilities include managing the full product lifecycle, product market fit, customer engagement, user experience, defining and delivering the product roadmap, directing the daily operational activities of the engineering team, driving quality assurance and assisting in the drive and strategy behind product innovation and the development of technology partnerships.

I have 1000 interests. I truly love growing, maintaining and caring for bonsai, skating, surfing and collecting vintage comics. I’m a Batman geek, a film buff, a gym junkie and an obstacle racer. I love motorsport (V8 Supercars and Formula 1), reading, playing the guitar and digital painting. I am lucky enough to be a judge for the Ghastly Awards, and I live in paradise – on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland, Australia.
